Charity Day in Iran is celebrated annually on March 5 and is dedicated to promoting charity, mutual assistance and care for those in need. In Iran, this day is called "Ruz-e Nekoui", which translates as "Day of Good Deeds" or "Day of Charity". Traditions and Customs
Donations and charity events. Charity Day in Iran is marked by mass collections of donations, aid campaigns, distribution of food packages, essential goods and clothing. Numerous charitable organizations, such as the Imam Khomeini Committee and the Red Crescent, take an active part in organizing and holding events.

Help in local communities. Residents of local communities participate in cleaning areas, repairing houses and schools for low-income families, visiting hospitals and nursing homes.

Promoting volunteerism. Volunteering is also encouraged on this day so that everyone can contribute to improving the living conditions in their country. Many Iranians participate in volunteer programs aimed at helping refugees and those in difficult life situations.

Family Traditions. In Iran, families often involve children in charitable activities to instill in them the values ​​of generosity, mercy, and love for others from an early age. Children visit orphanages, schools for children with special needs, and participate in fundraising, which helps to cultivate compassion and responsibility.

Educational and Religious Activities. Lectures and events are held in schools and religious institutions to raise awareness of the importance of charity in Islam. Sermons and Friday prayers are also often dedicated to the theme of charity and helping the poor.
